Looking for someone interested in learning and performing all warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, shipping, and scheduling.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the careful handling of all merchandise at all times.
Ensure that your work area is neat, clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Inbound Freight from Vendors:
Receive inbound freight.
Use of dock plate and pallet jack required.
Accurately check-in products.
Sort freight for customer order fulfillment.
Filling & Packing Customer Orders:
Building boxes or other packaging materials to ship customer orders that will prevent damage during shipping.
Place shipping labels on completed customer orders.
Warehouse duties include loading, unloading, and sorting of packages of various sizes and weights.
Must be able to move items up to 60 lbs.
Managing order fulfillment for outbound freight by matching items to customer orders, building pallets, and scheduling freight.
QUALIFICATIONS Must have a stable work history Maintains a positive attitude and sense of teamwork Self Starter & Able to work independently Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and procedures Ability to use internal Shipping Computers & Programs Physical Requirements:
Fast paced and physical warehouse work - why pay for a gym membership when you can get paid while working out? Lifting boxes & bags weighing up to 65 lbs.
on a daily basis.
Must be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 30 lbs to a height of 70 occasionally.
Must be able to stand, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job.
Must be able to push & pull pallets which may weight in excess of 2,500 lbs.
Time & Hours:
Monday/Thursday - Hours will Vary.
10-15 Hours per Week.
