We are a small animal and exotics animal practice in a beautiful, newly renovated building boasting 6 large, state-of-the-art exams rooms.

Services we offer include:
Dentistry with a dedicated dental suiteDermatologyClass 4 Laser TherapyNutritional CounselingPain ManagementSurgeryWe use Surgivet anesthesia monitoring, heated surgery tables, bedjet warm air system, electrocautery, and a highly trained surgery technician.
Diagnostic imaging is offered through X-Ray, Ultrasound, Dental radiographs, Microscopy, UA Analyzer, SA Analyser, and tonometry.
Services are provided to small animals and exotics.
Reptiles and other non-avian exotics are seen at this location.
We have an onsite pharmacy and a state-of-the-art in-house lab equipped by Abaxis.
Overview:
We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing hospital to provide exceptional care to our patients! You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants, support our Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital.

Position Skills:
Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery and minor procedures, surgical assisting, and pro-actively set up for any procedures or diagnostic testsRestrain animals in a safe, efficient, and caring mannerObtain accurate vitals, obtain medical histories, and/or note any changes of patient's condition to DVMCollect and prepare laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologiesCare and maintenance of all medical equipment including laboratory machines, surgical packs, anesthesia machines, and any other tools that are essential to daily operationsHigh quality client communication on patient updates and questionsPosition Requirements:
High School diploma or GED certificateFlexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shiftsKnowledge of medical procedures and animal handlingMust possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations, and work with others on a team respectfullyMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds
