Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time position that supervises the logistics/warehouse operations in Kennesaw, GA to ensure customer satisfaction, efficient processes, maximizing warehouse productivity, and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
KPI's include but are not limited to inventory accuracy, fulfillment rate, order backlog, customer order accuracy, on-time deliveries, cycle counting accuracy, and customer reported damages and discrepancies.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a staff, currently of four associates and growing located in Kennesaw, GA, to serve the eastern US customers.
This leader will be instrumental in hiring staff when applicable, will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities including but not limited to cycle counting, shipping and receiving, supervising staff, securing the warehouse, enforcement of safety and training standards, housekeeping, and continuing to deliver quality, service, and value to our customers.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities including communicating job expectations, performance, workload allocation, and staffing needs Identify and resolve any performance issues with warehouse staff Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity by setting daily shipping goals tracking performance against aggressive goals Tracking and coordinating inventory deliveries and pickups with various carriers Ensuring on-time delivery, accuracy of inventory and shipments, and assuring quality of goods Maintaining inventory stock levels and storage area Organizing records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation Administrating various training and safety requirements Inspecting return processing and coordinating with customer service Leading daily and year end stock counts, including but not limited to reporting and accuracy Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse insuring cleanliness, proper storage, safety measures in place, etc.
Communicating and coordinating with other departments, customers, and freight vendors Identify areas of improvement and communicate corrective plan and procedures Skills/Experience Required:
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor Highly effective supervisory skills and leadership Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management Hands-on dedication to staff training and championing new ideas Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levels Exceptional work-ethic, with an attitude that no job is too big or too small
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 2-4 years of warehouse supervisor experience ERP experience, specifically SAP is a plus
