Tech Support Advisor

Responsible for the Service Technical Support in the day-to-day operations of the Branch
Service Business. This will include support of Service Field staff and Branch Contract
Customers in regards to Technical support or advice.
Essential Functions:
Daily answering of the Technical Support Phone line and completion of the telephone log
Troubleshoot, verify, and correct operation of ALC furnished equipment and field
/replacement material
Replace and re-commission devices and equipment
Daily upkeep of the ALC s Database, in reference to proper Service Technical Support
Procedures (etc.-assignment and closing of purchase/work orders,)
Assist the Service
in project closeout and turnover to the customer, as required
Tracking of all Purchase/Work Orders and projects assigned to Service Support
Tracking of all Return Material Authorizations (RMA) and outstanding Material returns
ver 30 days old
Ensure all Purchase/Work Orders and projects are closed out properly and completed
within the Customer s/ALC s time frame
Weekend coverage and 24-hour phone support as assigned
Supervising and Coordinating with ALC s sub-contractors as required
Complete a Daily Time Sheet with a brief description on-time and accurately within the
purchase/work order when all possible
Responsible for ensuring Customer Satisfaction
Follow ALC s
Handbook and Operations, Technical Support, and Installation
Perform other project tasks as directed by the Service Manager and Technical Support
From time to time perform the duties of a Service System Specialist, as required
Adhere to the Branch Operation Safety Standards and Requirements including the
Cardinal Rules
Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Good understanding of ALC HVAC, Electrical, and/or HVAC control systems
Graduate of a Technical School, two-year NSA Engineering and/or ALC Service System
Specialist experience, or two-year experience in a related technical
. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational and time management skills
This position requires excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in
a team environment and manage the team effectively.
Able to provide direction and guidance to other team members
Must Possess the ability to work without close supervision
Significant contribution to department or unit by applying advanced knowledge of
WebCTRL, HVAC and Building Automation Systems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
