We are market leaders and innovators with over 75 patents worldwide. Interior building products include decorative wall coverings, wall protection, entrance flooring systems, specialty and anti-fatigue flooring.
As a Graphic Designer you will have the responsibility for providing creative design for digital and print materials for Grand Entrance. This position will work collaboratively within the Marketing Department to assist in the design and execution of projects relating to creative asset development. Examples would include brochure and collateral development, online marketing content, promotional materials, tradeshow support, presentations and proposals. This individual will also support the Imagitect product by providing design assistance and print development. This position is located with the Marketing Group in the Midtown Atlanta Showroom.
We are looking for a candidate that will have the creative skill set to develop designed materials but also with the organizational abilities to manage a diverse workload. Please be prepared to share a graphic design portfolio expressing a diversity of designs for commercial and artistic purposes.
Responsibilities:
Design product and company collateral (ex: literature & brochures, promotional material for physical and online channels, presentations, etc.)
Posses sketching abilities for demonstrative examples of product in place
Work with internal marketing team on ongoing trade show needs
Monitor periodicals, trade publications, websites (organization and competitor), blogs, etc. for competitive intelligence information.
Support the Imagitect graphic designers by assisting in the preparation of design files for large format print production
Assist with creative projects for the Retail, Hotel, and Restaurant markets
Designs will cover areas such as wayfinding, user experience, branding, visual merchandising - and the designs will likely be combinations of photo's, graphics, and repeatable patterns.
Utilize customer supplied artwork and validate for prepress
Collaborate with Sales Managers and their customers to provide creative input, trouble shoot, and assist in the creation of their Imagitect designs
Qualifications:
A demonstrative portfolio highlighting of a diversity of work in digital mediums.
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university with major in communication design or graphic design plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience in the building products industry
Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, training, market research, representative visits, etcEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
