Supporting our Small Format Stores inbound web and phone traffic
Effectively managing leads for several traditional stores in GA and VA
Testing and proving new strategies/training/techniques before deployment to 125+ locations
The Centralized Inside Sales Specialist delivers an unrivaled customer experience through
Professionally beginning the unique CarMax process over the phone or via email
Proudly and passionately sharing the CarMax Equities and explaining the CarMax difference
Effectively guiding and assisting customers by answering questions, helping in vehicle selection, and suggesting the next step in the sales process
Positively improving the likelihood of success by taking credit applications, arranging transfers, and setting appointments for the customer to come into the stores to purchase or sell a vehicle
Building relationships that result in creating loyal CarMax promoters
Working as a team with peers, CarMax locations, and Management to best serve our customers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interact with customers in a timely manner to understand and meet their needs by providing appropriate information
Influence customers through a variety of CarMax sales, vehicle appraisal and financing processes to help compel them to purchase a vehicle or sell their vehicle to CarMax
Receive and initiate telephone calls through which customers are provided information that assists them with a buying or selling decision
Review and correspond with customers who contact CarMax via websites and/or emails
Follow up with customers as necessary
Ensure that customers are informed of the status of their sales or appraisal process by reviewing information on internal CarMax systems
Actively listen and respond to customer needs
Process credit applications, MaxCare renewals and customer payments via internal computer systems
Document customer contacts interactions and related information in internal systems
Continuously build product and company knowledge (i.e., CarMax products, types of vehicles that would meet customer needs, financing options, titles and extended service policies).
Collaboratively work with other associates in various departments and locations to resolve customer questions/issues. QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Passionate about CarMax and selling cars
Strong multi-tasking skills in a high energy, fast paced work environment
Receptive to frequent feedback and perform self development to keep up with an ever changing automotive industry
Use a variety of professional selling principles to educate and influence customers
Guide and actively listen to CarMax customers via telephone
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate via email
Ability to identify problems and use sound judgment in resolving or escalating as needed
Effectively handle and cope with occasionally stressful interactions with customers
Ability and desire to work in a strong team based environment
Ability to complete state licensing requirements
Complete CarMax provided training as required
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
