Machine Operator II

Your ResponsibilitiesThe Machine Operator position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machines.
The Machine Operator requires the ability to independently read and interpret blueprints, set-up sheets and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings as required by the work order specifications.
Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
Complete all required information entry accurately.
Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Key Accountabilities:
Verify and process job specifications required as per work instructions and diligent about ensuring accuracy in recording work flowPerform proper set-up and calibration for all equipment and accessories to be used on jobFollowing company's basic working procedure and job specific procedures to perform the tasks as assignedEnsure to keep work area neat and clean that were used during the day/night prior to leaving at the end of the shiftFollow Company's safety policy and complete job task in a manner that does not put him or other individuals in an unsafe situationSet-up the machine properly for safe and efficient productionIdentify, report and segregate material / scrap and any non-conforming material / partsEnsure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean conditionProvide feedback to the supervisor about the machine efficiency and qualityCheck first off part inspection.
Make sure all the dimensions are within tolerance limit.
Make necessary adjustment if required.

High school diploma / GED1 to 2 years machine operation experienceMust able to work with Vernier calipers and other measuring toolsMust possess strong basic math skillsComputer literateAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to lift and carry up to 40 lbsPreferred Requirements:
Previous forklift experienceShould be mechanically inclinedAble to interpret blue printsSalary:
